Creating a brighter future for kids in need
Now in its seventh year, the Wheel Classic is the flagship fundraising event of Future2. Financial planners and their mates who cycle with us do it for the personal challenge of a long distance ride, the camaraderie of the road and – not least – the satisfaction of helping young people who are doing it tough.
This year, the Wheel Classic follows a loop route which starts and ends in Perth, taking a southerly route via Margaret River, 17-23 November.
After riding through stunning coastal and country WA, the 2016 Wheel Classic cyclists will arrive back in Perth just in time for the FPA Professionals Congress!
10% early bird discount apply until 30th June

Future2 is the charitable foundation of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Individually and collectively, financial planners and others connected with the profession help us to raise funds, identify local not-for-profits that need our help, and give their time and skills to help needy kids attain productive, secure and fulfilling lives.
Since 2007, Future2 has awarded grants of $613,000, money that is transforming the lives of many young people in the community. Find out more on the Future2 website. The growth of our grants program year on year owes much to the success of the Wheel Classic.
What started in 2010 as a challenge by Ray Griffin to Peter Bobbin, both Future2 trustees, to raise money by cycling from Bourke to Sydney (1250km over 9 days) has raised over $585,000 (after costs) through generous personal donations in support of our riders. We acknowledge the generous support of our corporate partners: AMP (Gold), Financial Planning Association (Silver) and Matrix Planning Solutions (Silver).
